Programme de soutien de l'IFRA au Ghana : appel à candidatures (délai élargi) :

L'Ambassade de France au Ghana et l'Institut Français de Recherche en Afrique-Nigeria (IFRA) accordent 10 subventions à des recherches dans les domaines des sciences humaines et sociales.

Ces aides financières ne concernent que les étudiants ghanéens inscrits en second et troisième cycles dans une université au Ghana.

Date butoire pour le dépôt des candidatures : 15 mai 2012.

Ces subventions ont pour objectifs d'encourager des étudiants à acquérir une expérience de terrain et à recueillir des données originales contribuant au développement de la recherche en sciences humaines et sociales au Ghana.

Le programme a été imaginé dans une perspective interdisciplinaire, et les étudiants ghanéens effectuant leurs recherches dans le domaine des SHS sont vivement appelés à soumettre leur candidature. Les candidatures d'étudiants en sciences politiques sont également les bienvenues.

Les candidatures doivent indiquer les axes de recherche envisagés, préalablement validés par le département de rattachement de l'étudiant. Les étudiants ne doivent pas avoir encore commencé leur travail de recherche.

2012 IFRA-in-Ghana Call for Field Research Proposals : Deadline extented

10 small grants for fieldwork in the Social Sciences and Humanities


The French Embassy in GHANA & IFRA-Nigeria are giving out 10 grants for fieldwork in the Social Sciences and Humanities in Ghana. This is only for MA/MPhil Ghanaian students registered in any university in Ghana.

NEW DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: MAY 15, 2012

Small fieldwork grants aim at encouraging students to acquire field experience and collect original data supporting innovative research in the Social Sciences and Humanities in Ghana.

The approach of the programme is interdisciplinary, and Ghanaian students from across the social sciences and humanities doing research on Ghana are encouraged to apply. Applications will also be welcomed from students working in the policy sector.

Candidates will have the title of their dissertation already accepted by their department, but will not have started fieldwork.
