Artists Alliance Gallery dates back to the sixties, when Ablade Glover a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, envisioned a place for contemporary African Art in Ghana and the World Art scene. The company started as GLO ART GALLERY at Osu (Ghana) in 1968, it emerged in 1993 as Artists Alliance Gallery in Nungua a suburb of Accra, after Ablade's retirement from lecturing.

Artists Alliance Gallery took off to a great start but challenges set in due to logistical reasons, population growth and locational factors made it impractical to operate the gallery and attract customers. Hence, the relocation to the new Artists Alliance Gallery-La, which was officially, opened on January 8th, 2008 by his Excellency Busumuro Kofi Annan. Artists Alliance Gallery has been instrumental in bringing to worldwide attention traditional and contemporary African Art.

Our objective is to provide a source to African art. Buying art direct from the artist". Our mission is to provide Art connoisseurs with authentic African Art and services of superior value to our customers worldwide. We invest a great deal of time and commitment to ensure that the artists and artwork we present are authentic, fairly priced, and created with high quality materials to ensure their longevity.
