Ras King Bobo 1 is a multi talented entertainer from the West African country of Ghana. He started performing from an early age and paid his way through school by doing acrobatics and dancing shows throughout Accra and Tema. A talented acrobat, Ras Bobo really came into his own when he joined the 2Puff dance crew.
 
Together they won the Ghana Malta Guinness Street Dance 2008 and then went on to triumph at the Pan African competition beating the national champions from many other African countries. After the Malta Guinness Street Dance numerous dance performances followed and Ras King Bobo has been lucky enough to perform with artists such as Sizzla, P Square and at the MTN Soccer Academy final. He was also the star of the Malta Guinness "Word Up" Campaign starring in both the TV commercial and on billboards across a number of African countries.
 
An all round talented performer, Ras Bobo is happy to organize shows, workshops and lessons in acrobatics, fire eating, yoga, meditation, Ghanaian traditional dancing and street dancing. Ras Bobo is the leader of the African Power acrobatics Circus and can introduce the skills and talents of all its members to any event he organizes. In 2010 Ras King Bobo turned his focus to music, bringing out his first album, My Baby Girl. My Baby Girl is an upbeat mix of hiplife and reggae inspired songs reflecting the sunshine culture of Ghana music.
 
Two singles have been released from the album, Ghana Black Stars which is a patriotic hiplife song, released early in 2010 to correspond with the Ghana Black's Stars fantastic run in the SA 2010 World Cup; And the party classic Kolo a great sound track to a night out in Accra or any other city. His second album, My Music was released in 2011. It shows a growing maturity to his music making and includes a number of azonto favourites alongside some classic reggae dancehall tracks.
 
Aged 31 Ras King Bobo 1 is married and based in Birmingham, England. He proud to be Ghanaian, but loves to travel and experience new cultures and perform in front of different audiences.
