Benedict A. Dorsey, D.Th., is a native Baltimorean - gifted and passionate about his God, his family and his work! He is a Pastor, Playwright, Director, Filmmaker and Advisor.

Benedict Dorsey received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola College of Maryland, subsequently joined the U.S. Army and achieved the rank of captain before retiring and returning to Baltimore. He later received his Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

He is currently the Associate Director of Financial Aid at Johns Hopkins University, where he also serves as advisor for the Gospel Choir and advisor/director for the Dunbar-Baldwin-Hughes Theatre Company.

Additionally, he is the president and founder of Benediction Productions, Inc., a Christian theater company and Benediction LLC producer of feature films.

Benedict Dorsey's newest endeavor is responsible for the new feature film "The Human Web". This business was created with similar vision as Benediction Productions Inc., but with a specific focus on the film industry.
