THE BLAKHUD RESEARCH CENTRE, founded in 1994 by Dale H. Massiasta, is a private non-profit research institution dedicated to promoting studies and research in BLACK AFRICAN CULTURE and CIVILIZATION.

OBJECTIVE


THE PRINCIPAL objective of the CENTRE is to DOCUMENT indigenous African culture and civilisation through studies and research, and thus promote the cause of recognizing black Africa's historical role and contributions to world progress and civilization.
The focal point of studies and research then is to supply information and data in support of socio-economic development and improving living standards in rural communities in Africa.
THE CENTRE also aspires to serve the research needs of black Africans living outside the continent by forming an intellectual bridge to the discovery of the indigenous arts and cultures of historical black Africa.

FIELDS OF RESEARCH

THE BLAKHUD RESEARCH CENTRE conducts researches and studies in the HUMANITIES and SCIENCES. It also develops publications in these fields of study and resarch with special emphasis on developmental studies, the arts and historical, cultural and philosophical subjects
