Written by Franka Maria Andoh "I Have Time & Other Short Stories" is a collection of eleven short stories, which was published with support from the Ghana Denmark Cultural Fund (GDCF).

The author will be reading portions of the book at the launch, which is being supported by WIENCO, an agricultural company. It promises to be a scintillating literary evening alongside refreshing music and poetry from Ofie Kodjo and D.K. Osei Yaw.

Also a restaurateur, Andoh who has been writing since her childhood, makes Ghana a very important part of her stories. Reviewers have variously described her as "sly", "social critic" and "incredibly funny."

She has already published two children's stories, "Dokono the Donkey and "Koku the Cockerel".  "Mansa", her first published short story is included in this collection and was part of the Caine African Writer's Anthology, "Work in Progress and Other Stories".

The GDCF, which was set up by the Danish Centre for Culture and Development, has since 2012, when its second phase was commenced, released a total of GHc 987,622.55 for various arts projects throughout the country.

These include publishing of books, documentary films, dance productions, acquisition of instruments / equipment, story telling and reading programmes for school kids among others.
