Momo Wandel Soumah, also known as "Momo le Doyen" (Momo the Elder) departed us in 2003. This earthy and flamboyant Guinean saxophonist was a true king of swing and improvisation, a major figure of African jazz and a musical and historical reference. This album is a reissue of the original film scores that he wrote and performed for Laurent Chevallier's films: "Circus Baobab", "Voyage au Pays des Peaux Blanches", "Aoutara", "L'Enfant Noir" and "Momo le Doyen".
