WuzaWuza is a professional music and dance company with three divisions:

Besides developing and producing dance pieces, the company has a repertory of traditional African music and dance, contemporary music and dance and the new African Afrikiki dance form. The company has two branches, one in the north and one in the southern part of Ghana. Wuza-Wuza is patronized by Professor Emeritus Kwabena Nketia (1921). The professor is a world renowned musicologist and composer who founded and directs the International Centre for African Music and Dance (ICAMD) of the University of Ghana in Legon, a suburb of Accra.
The name WuzaWuza
WuzaWuza stands for ‘You and us together as one'. The name is a combination of the word ‘Wu' (Akan dialect for ‘you') and the word ‘Zaa' (Dagbani dialect for ‘together as one'). Of course it also represents the founders first name (...)
