All cinemas in Bobo Dioulasso, one of the major towns of Burkina Faso, have been closed for the past 10 years. This film lends a voice to all the old cinema-lovers who used to go to the Guimbi cinema, the most emblematic venue of the town, opened in 1956 and closed in 2003.
