A highly extraordinary story, narrated with an equally extraordinary consequence: For decades Traude Krüger has given piano lessons in a women's prison. One day she meets young Jenny, a withdrawn woman who is accused of murder but who was once known as a musical wunderkind. With the teacher's attempt to make her student win a music competition, a difficult, contradictory and exciting relationship develops between the two women.
