Ahmed Roshdy was born on November 6, 1988 in Cairo, Egypt. He is graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in animation department Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. His first short film titled "Night" was screened in 9 festivals & won two awards & three honor certificates. His first animation short film "Tarot", won 10 awards & was chosen to final international contest of 48 hours film project in Hollywood. The film won as global best of the 48 hours film 2014 & received a special screening in Cannes International film Festival 2015 in the Palais. His lastet film "The Unknown Sweet Potato Seller" (2016) was starring Khaled Abol Naga and Tara Emad and funded by British Council.
