Revel Fox obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree at Cape Town University. He then worked for Keith Anderson as a Trapeze Flyer. Returned to South Africa in 1994 and directed documentaries, dramas, commercials and music videos. The Flyer marks his feature directorial debut.
