Born in 1957, Jean-Michel KIBUSHI NDJATE WOOTO hails from Lubefu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 1988, he founded the first mobile studio for training in animated film in Kinshasa (Studio MALEMBE MAA). He produces his own films and promotes the development of African auteur animated film.
