"Numey" (released by Cobalt in 2000) drew its inspiration from the Kumana tradition. For her new CD, Faytinga spans the whole Eritrea (Kumana but also Tigrinya and Tigre music), hence its name. She has also added guitars, a flute and more sustained percussion to the accompaniement by the krar lyre and the wata, the traditional one-string violin.
