In Ouahigouya, Burkina Faso, the rainy season is a long time coming. Everyone is ready to go into the bush and work the land. But, the rain makes only a rare appearance, with infrequent light showers, indicating a very difficult growing season to come for the sorghum and millet, and many haven't been able to complete their sowing of groundnuts and beans.
