Major international film productions are shot in ouarzazate, where they use the local population as extras. But those extras will probably never see the movies. Ouarzazate is where the world cinema is prevalent, going from Kundun by Martin Scorses or Asterix and the gladiator, to behind the scenes, the backstage of humor and satire.
