Massata Cissé, the only woman carrying a heavy-duty truck in Burkina Faso, criss-crosses the ports and markets of several West African cities for 24 years. She is 56 years old and does not expect to abandon her passion and her husband. Her ultimate project is to have her own truck and pass her hand to her grandson Akim whom she is initiating. The latter will be able to take care of her when the weight of the age will oblige her to abandon the driving.

ماما أفريكا

ماساتا سيسي هي المرأة البوركينية الوحيدة الّتي تعمل منذ 24 سنة سائقة شاحنة ثقيلة تجوب بها الموانئ والأسواق في كثير من مدن غرب إفريقيا. تبلغ ماساتا سيسي من العمر 54 سنة وهي لا تنوي التخلّي مبكّرا عن سياقة الشاحنات، هذه المهنة التي أصبحت عشقها وغرامها تماما مثل زوجها. لعل آخر مشروع تحلم ماساتا بتحقيقه هو أن تكون لها شاحنتها الخاصة بها ليتسلمها منها ابنها أكيم ،هذا الشاب الذي تعلمه الآن مبادئ هذه المهنة. تنتظر ماساتا أن يقوم هو بدوره برعاية والدته عندما تجبرها شيخوختها مع التقدم في السن على التخلي عن مهنة أحبتها حد العشق
