The Senegalese singer Zale Seck, star of "mbalax", the Senegalese variety, in the 2000s, now living in Canada, has formed a group, Japon Daagou, with Japanese musicians and his son, guitarist Assane Seck. Together, they are touring Japan on a musical tour that joyfully brings cultures together and strengthens family ties.
