Karim, a gangster who has turned his friends on, leaves the town for fear of reprisals. Lotfi, a honest citizen, getting back drunken from a late party, happens to be walking in the street, just behind Karim. Thinking he is being spinned, the latter is about to take his knife out to attack him.
