A documentary exploring the cultural diversity of youth culture in the 1950s and 1960s in London and drawing parallels with youth culture today. Both native Londoners and ethnic minorities share memories and experiences of growing up over this time. They talk about music, fashion, film, sport and entertainment richly illustrated with archive film, photographs and iconic posters.
Highlights include early 60's clips of Malcolm X address to the Oxford Union, Millie Small singing "My Boy Lollipop", Freddie Notes & the Rudies, Muhammed Ali's first visit to Brixton
