The January 12, 2010 earthquake destroyed several cities in Haiti in 35 seconds. This disaster killed more than 300,000 people, destroyed 105,000 homes and damaged 208,000 others, representing eight billion dollars in losses. What does the future hold for this country? Nine months after this catastrophic event, the situation continues to deteriorate instead of improve.The number of tents and tarps cropping up in every corner of the country keeps on growing, and yet, to this day, nothing has been done.
