Delayed twice by the global health crisis, the next exhibition in our art centre brings together the works of contemporary artists from Africa and its diaspora revisiting the History of Art in their own way.

Great classics such as Le déjeuner sur l'herbe by Edouard Manet or La grande odalisque by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, some dives into the heart of the universe and influences from great masters such as Pablo Picasso or Paul Gauguin, or inevitable genres such as still life, everything is done by the artists invited in this exhibition to re-create, re-invent, re-visit.

The works on display already belonged to the Collection Blachère, and also produced by artists who came for a creative residency as well as kindly lent by galleries, museums and collectors.

They will form a motley ensemble in the manner of a museum gallery, a real invitation to travel through History of Art.
