Four different tales. They seem to be separate events, and we see the relentless attempts of the characters balance between the city and the self. Each in their own way. The events happen simultaneously in one of the nights of Cairo. Where we see the extent of the extreme power and absurdity of the city in these tales, and we feel its merciless, inhuman and oppressive pace to the individual's dreams.
