Old Samba, a wealthy politician drives around in his beautiful car in the lost city of Nietty Mbar (suburb of Dakar). His path crosses that of Bathie, a young thief in search of an opportunity for theft. Caught in the act of stealing Samba's car, he will be beaten to death by an enraged mob. Ironically, days after the press discovered the involvement of Old Samba in a case of embezzlement of public funds.
