Questioned by his family about still being single, the director embarks on a lengthy voyage in search of Algerians and their love stories. In the course of his encounters, he finds anger, confusion, tenderness and hope, and the encounter with oneself gains as it asserts an individualization that has been inhibited far too often. Feelings of love appear in the midst of the tension that seems to run through Algerian society today.

Cuando su familia le pregunta por qué sigue soltero, el realizador se lanza a un largo recorrido en busca de los argelinos y de sus amores. Entre encuentros llenos de ira, confusión, ternura y esperanza, el reencuentro consigo mismo se hace más fuerte y reafirma una individualización inhibida en demasiadas ocasiones. El sentimiento amoroso se revela entre las tensiones que atraviesan la sociedad argelina actual.
