He exposed in France in 2001 and 2002 at the Tintamarre gallery and at the Free Space gallery. Between 2003 and 2011, he participated in eight editions of the "Arkadi" exhibition at the French Cultural Centre in Abidjan and in 2012, he participated for the first time at the OFF of the Dakar Biennale.
Influenced by cave painting, Méné made from this ancient scripture his mode of expression. He draws on the past to understand the present. His work is intended to be the continuity of an ancient civilization enriched by modernism.
"In the beginning was the innocence and purity" this vision guides the artist in his work by taking the minimalist shapes and sober colors. The artist feels the need to express himself with the material using different media and pigments - dirt, kaolin, sand, bark juice – Bottom and forms constitute a whole in a dynamic of merging material.
