Spanish Filmmaker and musician.

Miguel Llansó (Madrid, 1979) is a big fan of experimental-punk- weird music and films. He studied Philosophy and Cinema before leaving on his many adventures. He has mainly filmed in Ethiopia, where he lives half the year. Inspired by Werner Herzog, he created and distributed the film WHERE IS MY DOG? (2010, with Yohannes Feleke), screened at the IFF Rotterdam (2011 & 2012) and other international festivals. He also directed, produced and wrote CHIGGER ALE (2013) - a short film about Hitler's Ethiopian clone which premiered at FF Locarno in 2013 and has been screened at BAFICI, Tampere, Hamburg and more than 25 international film festivals.

CRUMBS (2015) is Miguel's feature film debut. It was premiered in IFF Rotterdam and screen in more than 75 film festivals, including Los Angeles FF, BAFICI, Fantasia, Helsinki, Neuchatel, Vancouver, New Horizons and many others. CRUMBS was also theatrically released in the USA.
He is the Manager of Lanzadera Films, his Production & Distribution Company, based in Spain.

PERSONAL BIO
I have filmed mainly in Ethiopia, where I lived for three years.
I shot the short film "Where is my dog?", screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2011 and 2012.
I wrote and produced in Addis Ababa the short film "The Hidden Smile" (Nanouk Films) selected in competition at Sundance 2012.
Now I'm working on the film research project "Swinging Addis. Music and Revolution from the Ethiopian 60's", with Francis Falceto.
